Hi Grace Lutheran Families! Here's a quick bio in case you want to know a bit about me...
I grew up in Oak Park and attended Grace Lutheran for Middle School (some of you know me as Kristi Kleidon) I went to OPRF where I played Varsity Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball. Afterwards, I attended Calvin College and became a certified middle and high school math and science teacher. I also played collegiate basketball and soccer. Directly after college,I married my high school sweetheart (Elijah) and moved to Atlanta where we were blessed with three children (Isaac, Chena, and Grace). Our family moved to Maryland and I spent twelve years there involved with church, teaching math and science, and coaching a plethora of sports teams. For over 15 years I have been an ACE Certified fitness instructor with specialties in Kickboxing, Cycling, Water Aerobics, Body Pump, TABATA, and Barre. I still teach weekly exercise classes at John Hayley's Unbreakable Fitness in Forest Park. We have been involved at Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park since moving back to the area. My house is full even though my daughters are away at college (in St. Louis), and working for Westmond College in Santa Barbara,CA. My son and his family live with us so we have a busy household with 4 grandchildren (all of them are at Grace Lutheran this year 2nd grade, Kindergarten, and PK). I am extremely excited to be back in the Grace Lutheran community for my fifth year with the teaching responsibilities of 6th grade homeroom teacher and 5th grade math and science.
